Kristen Wiig Works It On the Golden Globes Red Carpet
Looking picture perfect for the red carpet festivities, Kristen Wiig turned up for the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (January 15).
Taking place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the "Saturday Night Live" star was in her usual jovial mood while working the arrivals area before heading inside for the swanky Hollywood fete.
Among the esteemed trophy contenders, Miss Wiig was up for Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical Motion Picture for her work in "Bridesmaids" but ended up being beaten out by Michelle Williams.
Of the honor of having been nominated, Kristen said, "I am shocked and elated. I am honored to be included in the company of these actors whom I've always admired and respected. I feel truly blessed. Annie and I wrote this film 5 years ago and are absolutely overwhelmed at the response it has received. I am grateful to the HFPA for acknowledging our film."
