Meryl Streep Wins Best Actress Golden Globe
She's a veteran when it comes to red carpet festivities, and Meryl Streep was back for another go-round at the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (January 15).
Taking place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the 62-year-old actress was in her usual classy attire while working the arrivals area before heading inside for the swanky Hollywood fete.
Among the esteemed nominees, Miss Streep ended up taking home one of the night's top prizes upon being named as Best Actress in a Drama Motion Picture for her work in "The Iron Lady".
Beating out other ladies including Glenn Close, Rooney Mara, Viola Davis and Tilda Swinton, Meryl previously said of being named in such elite company, "I'm thrilled to be included in this beautiful group of actors and actresses. I'm very proud of our movie and look forward to seeing everyone at the party in January."
